burnadette_dpdlSo I have a friend visiting this weekend, and as I await her imminent arrival, I'm catching up on commenting on some older entries to help clear my poor inbox. When I make posts, I get notifications, and often don't have a chance to reply immediately, sometimes, for an obscene amount of time :P
At any rate, I leave you to fend for yourselves over the weekend with one of the first gifs I've taught myself how to make...
...and it was a scene that for ages tormented me bc I didn't know what Lestat was singing. How silly to find out that it's mentioned on the IMDB page!!
I feel like TC really captures our beloved 'Stat here. That he can be so joyous at such a moment, to the point of dancing with a corpse (especially considering how vampires have little tolerance for even being NEAR dead bodies), really shows how much sunshine he really does have bursting inside him. He's elated to the point of pissing people offsometimes. Alot of times. Most of the time.
That's why he's my spirit animal. Okay there are many reasons! This is a big one.

Okay, Burnadette back again: I can't help but compare it to the poodles Louis killed just a few scenes earlier. That older lady said, "My papillons, my butterflies, you killed them, ohhh nooooo!"
Each vampire we see transformed on screen sort of undergoes that metamorphosis, the way butterflies do... hmmm...
