Behold, a beautiful male torso in motion, etc.

I have a visitor all weekend so will probably not be able to do any fandom stuff, so I'm getting it all out of my system tonight. I'll be in the reread momentarily. Looking back over this post, it's kind of long, but I wanted to collect some vampire thoughts.

To start the weekend off right...  I saw this on tumblr and had to share here (for fic inspiration only, of course). Can one even describe with the written word the art that is this gyrating man? *u*

Also, on a completely urelated note... [personal profile] gairid (on tumblr) offered that these would be Louis's hands
and I must agree, posting here for fic inspiration, too.

(Yes that is Tom Hiddleston)(who would not necessarily be a good Louis)(but he is an excellent vampire in OLLA anyway)

On a further completely unrelated note, I loved the idea in OLLA that the vampires had the option of staying awake during the daylight, but there would be sunlight-related consequences to avoid. This is a cut scene:

Burned vampire:

This cut scene had to be a little nod to IWTV, the tip-toeing around the sunlight
In the movie of IWTV it seemed that Claudia could also be awake during the sunlit hours.

Finally: blood popsicles. Would Lestat try to get Louis to try them? Hmmmm....
Probably not, it being "dead blood" which is unappetizing to Ricean vampires, but, maybe some adventurous younger ones would be inspired bc of OLLA.

That is all.

I have to see that film!

Yes to the pics of Louis's hands and double-treble-quadruple etc yes to the gyrating male torso. Lestat: 'What do you mean you can't dance, Louis, I've seen you dance. You're all hands and torso.'

Gulp!

Oh, yesssss. Just go on Youtube and search for male belly dancing. Some is too feminine for me but others combine sinuous elegance with male muscle control.

I can just see Lestat's jaw dropping as his mind struggles to match what he's seeing with the Louis he's used to. 'You're doing this for a bet...aren't you?'
